RATILLA MEDICAL CLINIC & ANIMAL BITE CENTER NOW OPEN IN CAGAYAN DEORO CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY —
Residents of Cagayan de Oro and nearby communities now have access to a dedicated facility for animal bite management and preventive care with the opening of the Ratilla Medical Clinic & Animal Bite Center at the Our Lady of Manaoag Town Center along RN Pelaez Boulevard, Kauswagan. The newly opened Animal Bite Center is equipped to provide immediate medical attention to individuals who have been bitten or scratched by dogs, cats, and other animals, offering wound assessment, proper wound care, and vaccination services.
The center said it aims to provide fast, safe, and reliable treatment to patients while promoting greater awareness of rabies prevention and responsible health care.
According to the clinic, it uses WHO pre-qualified vaccines, providing patients with vaccines that meet recognized international quality and safety standards.
The facility also promotes a streamlined treatment program, with its announcement stating that eligible patients may complete their vaccination regimen within one week, depending on the recommended treatment protocol and medical assessment. Patients are encouraged to consult qualified medical professionals, as the appropriate schedule may vary depending on the nature and severity of the exposure.
“Our goal is to make quality animal bite treatment more accessible to the community and to ensure that patients receive prompt and appropriate medical care,” the clinic said.
