PASAY CITY — The Pasay City Government, in partnership with telecom giant PLDT, has unveiled a new initiative aimed at enhancing services for its residents.

Mayor Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano introduced the 888-PASAY single trunkline on Monday, July 1.

This streamlined number, 888-72729, serves as a centralized point of contact for all inquiries, concerns, and requests from Pasay City residents.

The launch event took place at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. Mayor Rubiano emphasized that the new system replaces multiple departmental phone numbers, simplifying access for citizens.

The goal is to make government services more accessible and responsive to community needs.

The 888-PASAY single trunkline is designed to optimize service delivery and promote a government focused on its citizens.

Mayor Rubiano envisions improved collaboration with residents to efficiently address their issues.

Edwin David, the head of Information Communication Technology under Mayor Rubiano, highlighted that the hotline will ensure prompt responses during emergencies. (JEG/PIA-NCR)
